Hey, I am Christina, nice to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. Whether this is a new challenge or a long standing one, my goal is to help you build confidence and feel empowered to approach it head on.

Come on in, let’s work on it together.

Through our collaboration, we will explore past and present aspects of your life and create a vision of your ideal self. You will learn to identify thought patterns and seemingly automatic responses that are keeping you stuck. Therapy presents a safe space to practice skills that prompt meaningful change, shift distorted thinking, and increase self-respect.

Feel free to bring a plus one.

In addition to helping clients transform on an individual basis, I also help couples and families work through and improve challenging relational dynamics.

Christina Cali, LMSW

This is all about YOU.

Understanding your goals and perspective helps me to tailor my therapeutic style to meet your specific needs. I want to know your approach to life and how our work can support you on your path to a healthier life.

Understanding that each client is unique, I shift my approach based on an assessment of what will be most effective. I utilize a blend of person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing to help you get the results you desire.

But in case you are wondering how I got here…

I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and worked in the behavioral health field in a variety of ways before returning to school and obtaining my Master’s of Social Work. Through my extensive experience in working with people in controlled settings, clinic settings, community settings and now private practice, I have come to a better understanding of how all aspects of life impact your wellbeing. My focus is on how the big picture is impacting the current situation. I am also a lifelong learner and enjoy training programs that help me better help you.

Outside of all that, I am a mom to two littles, a wife, love to be outside, and I have a travel wish list longer than my arm!

My Approach to Therapy

Collaborative Work: We increase the effectiveness of therapy when we work together. While I can teach you many skills, the most helpful skills will be the ones that feel applicable to you. In the therapeutic process, you have choice! Through conversation, practice, and troubleshooting, we will decide together the best course of treatment.

Solution Focused: You’ve identified aspects of life that you want to change. It is important to understand how you got to where you are, and it is just as important to create a plan of action for where you are going. Solution-focused therapy ensures you have the skills and accountability to make measurable change. Ready to jump in, let’s do it!
