Hi, I’m Christina!

Living with chronic pain or illness, stress or anxiety, or the ongoing challenge of setting relationship boundaries can feel overwhelming. When these experiences start to take over day-to-day life, it’s easy to feel stuck or exhausted.

I understand how hard it can be to carry physical and emotional pain while trying to keep up with work, relationships, and everyday responsibilities. Managing diagnoses, anxiety, sensory differences, and self-care all at once takes real strength, and reaching out for support is a meaningful step forward.

I aim to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment. My approach is person-centered and compassionate. Together, we’ll build tools and ways of thinking that help you feel more grounded, empowered, and accepting of what life has handed you.

I cannot wait to meet you and see your growth unfold!

Christina Till

To me, therapy is not one size fits all, and that is how I will approach our work together.

I work to view the world through your lens, your perspective and your ideals, and from there create and plan custom to your needs and goals.

To be the best I can be as a therapist, I vow to continue to learn tips and tools of the trade. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Nazareth College and my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology. Since receiving my Master’s degree out of state, I am currently completing SUNY Brockport’s Certificate of Advanced Study program to meet New York State licensure requirements. Additionally I continue to pursue additional training in pain psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

For more than 12 years, I’ve worked as a therapist, supporting individuals in areas including addiction, community response, crisis management, and domestic violence. I’ve also served as the manager of a local counseling program, where I provided clinical leadership and direct care. I bring this experience with me as I continue working toward licensure in New York State.

Aside from a therapist, I am a wife, a mother, a creative and a lifelong chronic illness warrior and spoonie (if you don’t understand the spoon reference, I am happy to share with you in session!).

My Approach to Therapy

Goal oriented: I truly feel therapy should help you to identify and build upon the goals you have worked on, and ones you want to continue to work towards. I will help you develop actionable, and realistic goals to help you create the outcomes you’ve been longing for.

Focus on mindfulness and the present moment: So much of today’s world is spent thinking about what happened and what is going to happen, and not enough attention is spent on what is currently happening – what is our current reality and how that impacts us. Much of our session will be discussing how to be aware of what is occurring in the present moment and how to normalize those experiences for what they are.

Acceptance as a mindset: I believe that acceptance as a concept is the first step in healing and finding peace. Acceptance does not mean we always agree with, or like, what is; it just means it is what it is, and once we can identify what it is, then we can work towards navigating the it of each present moment.
